Upgrade v3.56 to v3.6?

I know there are no jailbreak for 3.56 and 3.6. I still have version 3.56, should upgrade or wait? I am afraid if I upgrade to 3.6, a jb of 3.56 might come out. But I can't go online since I am still on 3.56.

What do you guys think? Any help or suggestion will be appreciated.

I still new to all of this, so please bear with me. NO Put Down PLEASE.

It's a risk.. because you can enjoy PSN on 3.60 - but lose a potential 3.56 jailbreak.

Anyway it's 99% that the next solution (or CFW, really) will be on 3.60+ and not 3.56.

I'd update.

If/when a jb for 3.60 is released, it has the same new keys as 3.56 (which was just the security update, 3.60 included that + 'new features') so update and enjoy PSN while you can.

im not updating,,, im still on 3.55 kmeaw untill the next CFW... i may tho buy aother ps3 for psn gaming becuase i paly with my brothers who are out of state.

I would also say go ahead and update, not much you can do. No Home-brew and no PSN. Go to 3.60. I've done the same on one of my consoles that got updated to 3.56 after I had a party and some one updated it. lol

It's your call of course.

My view is that nobody will be working on a 3.56 fix now, it's pointless, people will be looking to jb 3.60 at the earliest, maybe later builds which have more to offer than just psn..

Me personally, I'd upgrade and enjoy the full benefits of ofw for a bit, rather than nothing, but remember you'll have to agree to the new T&Cs, that may or may not bother you.

Update. It's pointless to stay on 3.56. There most likely won't be a cfw for 3.56 it uses the same SDK as 3.55. Being on 3.56, you're restricting yourself to what you could be using: PSN.

No point to not update.

Nobody will work on anything for 3.56 as it doesn't give us anything we don't already have. 3.60 brings us PSN for now and features like cloud saving.
The only thing 3.56 would give us is the ability to play games without having to modify the eboot, and thats really not a problem.
