Upgrade to existing jailbroken ps3

Hello, and thank you for accepting me on this fabulous forum. I would like to ask for your assistance please. I have a jailbroken PS3 already, running on firmaware 3.41., with a USB jaibreak 1. I would like to know please any upgrade process to my current setup which will allow me to play more up-to-date games. I didn't jailbreak the PS3 myself, but bought it as jailbroken 2 Christmasses ago.

I would appreciate a link to any existing threads covering my situation, or existing tutorial. If not, would someone kindly explain to me what I need and the processes involved.

go for CFW 3.55 for playing most of the latest games

Very simple mate... go to the first link in my sig, scroll down to CFWs, and then look for the kmeaw pack. That comes with ofw 3.55, and cfw 3.55. Install the ofw first, and then install the CFW.

After that, not more power cycling.

There is also something out now called True Blue, that allows you to play pretty much any and all games. There is a catch though... you need special BR discs in order to play some of the games, while other games come with customized eboot patches that allow you to launch the game from the HDDs.
