Upgrade to 3.55 including mod

Hi, I'm pretty new to the scene although I've been following it for a while now.
If I read and remember right there was a way to jailbreak 3.41 and after that you could put stuff on your ps3 for a modded lobby in COD and upgrade to 3.50 and keep your modded patch. (Correct me if I'm wrong).

Is this still possible to do with 3.55? And if so how am I able to do this?

You can mod your CoD install if you're still @ 3.41, and then update, keeping your mod.

Try taking the mod/hack online and I guarantee they ban you. Also, any patches for CoD down the road will probably overwrite your mods/hacks or at least make them incompatible.

If you are already at 3.55, then you're SOL as you don't have filesystem access anymore, which means you have no way to get your mods/hacks on your PS3.

sorry bro, I saw that yesterday that there was an update available and seeing as I hadn't messed with it yet, I skipped it. Thankfully I am on 3.5 right now so I can downgrade with my ps3 break. Fixing to do it now.
