Updating to Rogero cfw 4.30 v2.03; DLC still compatible?
Updating to Rogero cfw 4.30 v2.03; DLC still compatible? –
I am thinking about updating my PS3 from 3.55 kmeaw to Rogero 4.30 v2.03.
Just one thing that I was wondering though; will fixed DLC .pkg still work for this newer firmware? For instance, there are a lot of games that have a DLC fix in the form of a package file install; will I still be able to install those 3.55 fixes? And also, DLC that is already installed, will it still work?
Anyone that has experience with the above or can answer my questions?
Thanks in advance!
i had to reinstall my dlc when i upgraded mine the other day 1 question i have though was i thought with rogero 4.30 v2.03 the intsall folder was brought back but i dont have it i have to instal everything through mm an its abit of a pain that way.
Alright, thanks for the reply
However, can I just re-install DLC using the same packages? So do the fixes for 3.55 work on 4.30 as well (or does it perhaps depend on the game or such)?
Anyway, pretty sure Rogero 4.30 v2.03 should have the install packages available on XMB. Are you sure you installed the right version and not one prior to v2.03?
go to app/home in game category of XMB. wait for second and it will change to install pkg

I am still confused over the 3.55-fixed DLC compatibility with 4.30 CFW ( Rogero/Rebug ).
As aforementioned in the posts above, it seems that they have to reinstall the DLCs after updating. However, is it still using the same PKGs for 3.55CFW?
Regarding 4.30CFW, which version (Rogero/Rebug) is better for playing backups without resigning?
What are the differences between the two?
