update ps3 slim 3.41 to 3.55 ps3ita?

need help....
i have ps3 slim 160gb region USA netflix.....
and is ofw 3.41 now i update to cfw 3.55 kmeaw
but?

i install lattest multiman....
and launch and appear (cannot enable BD-emu )
then when i launch the game in a APP_HOME/ps3_GAME
(have error accoured) for all game?
and when i insert Blue-ray disk...this disc cannot change...what i launch on multiman

2.Can i downgrade again to 3.41 without brick??? and use a USB dongle again
- if can...how i can do it?


3.and what a different with ps3 FAT

You need BDEMU-355KM.pkg Google is your friend!

EDIT, do be sure to checkout the MD5 before installing 'just incase'

google "MD5_SHA-1 Utility" a nice portable tool to check MD5 and SHA1.

Once you download pkg file you are looking for, use MD5_SHA-1 Utility to give you the md5 and sha1

SHA-1 Checksum: 31C77F22CE3FE38386C5445FDD56D1FE6EBDD6E4

Maybe you should try to update to OFW 3.55 then use ps3mfw builder to make a CFW, it works perfect for me and all my friends that are running cfw.

i look...on firmware 3.55 to risk for me...
in my country its many people use a USB dongle compared custom firmware....

Go to PS3HAX.net right now!!! You will see the new copy of multiman 1.17.02, and the BDEMU package you need.

After you install that once, you will never have to install it again.

Now that you are on 3.55, there is no need to downgrade to 3.41 (unless you do not want to change all your custom eboots, or have the ps3usercheat or cobra-usb). I do not know what everyone in your country is still using dongles, maybe they are lazy. I know it took me along time before I finally switched to kmeaw.

SIDE NOTE Stop by the link in my sig for a great homebrew thread. You can find kmeaw 3.55, hermes 3.41, other managers, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc (you get it)

how i can know with no risk update a cfw on all ps3 especially on the ps3 slim...
yesterday i update ps3 slim asia 120 gb...to cfw 3.55 kmeaw but....after finnish look the menu display ps3 its going slowmotion and sometime i open INSTAL PACKAGe its stuck......and i change to cfw ps3 ITA work fine....

Corrupted firmware or bad blocks on the HDD is my guess. Do as the above posters suggested. Either download kmeaw from the link in our sigs, or use MFW to create your own CFW
