when i download game patch and install it,where that patch install,in game folder or direct to GAMEZ folder etc. on game backup?
because if is to game folder then we must repeat patch install if we delete save games?
and does anyone know will Gran Turismo 5 work with 1.09 patch on internal...
    thanks in advance

The patch data will be merged with the game's GAMEDATA. Nothing will ever be affected in your GAMEZ/GAMES folder, since those files are effectively BluRay images and they're treated as such. The PS3 doesn't write to the BluRay disks whenever you download a patch, does it?

Game saves and Game DATA are separate, so you won't have to worry about repatching if you delete your save games -- but if you delete the GAMEDATA (from the XMB) then yes, you'll have to patch the games again.
