Update to 3.50 for Black Ops

I think about getting Black Ops, but I want to play online (of course).
So, is Black Ops worth updating?

You can use XLink to play against other people. I'm not sure how many people will be playing, but you're sure to find one game.

Not quite, multiplayer is reported to freeze on black ops. unless that has changed, multiplayer is a no-go on jailbroken ps3's.

To the OP: No matter how good black ops is, is ONE game enough for you to give up the jailbreak? Ask yourself "how much do I stand to lose if I give up the jailbreak?"

I dont depend on copied games, I own legal copies of GTA IV, Just Cause, Assassins Creed II and Skate 3.
So the jb is kinda useless, no really cool homebrew apps are released and there s nothing in sight of CFW or 3.50 support...

Ima get it today/tomorrow

Be patient. Go ahead and buy the game as it's playable on 3.41, and as has been mentioned you can play online too.

Get another legit PS3! Read up on how to repair YLOD or donate your BR drive from the JB and buy a broken PS3 to repair and it'll cost less than a single game.

Then you could legally download a digital backup of games you've paid for and use it on the JB. You can also play online all day long that way! It's a must imo since most good homebrew is gonna take a while to be built.
