Here is how to solder the e3 for debricking English-E3 FLASHER repair method if console bricked.pdf and I'd solder it to the sbe on the e3 File:Pinbelegungsdusbivehp.jpg - PS3 Development Wiki if something is damaged I don't know that it'll help.

    upload your dump first.

we need to check if its a permabrick . In order to do that we need to validate the bkpps3.bin

    METLDR VALUE-E8 90
    ROS0 (4.21FW)ROS1
    CECH200XX (OR) CECHLXX(DOWNGRADABBLE)
    BOARD TYPE -DYN001
    BTLDR VALUE- 2FI70

Dump is good and perfect !

This should be a simple job for you.
1.Solder a wire from SBE point of e3 strip to the tristate point of the ps3 motherboard.
    2. Boot it up, with switch position 1000000( ALSO KNOWN AS FLASH FUN MODE) - Please note sd card should be there with my patched bkpps3.bin copied.
http://www.mediafire.com/?159dob20wvyb1na { this is a patched version that i made from your bkpps3.bin ..... so rename it back from patched.bkpps3.bin to bkpps3.bin and then flash } dont forget or miss any step
    3. Now press start in the e3 board, it should flash for 8 minutes.
    4. Boot it up with switch positions (00000000) -All switches down
.5. You MUST see a video on tv saying " press ps button in controller " = > If you get to this point. I can follow up.

dont bother soldering to the SBE point on the e3 ribbon it is a pain in the rear and if your not very very careful can melt the plastic on the ribbon damaging the cable

all you need to do is solder to the NOR_TRISTATE run the wire to the ps3chasis ground point, on the phats its near the plug swich and is screwed down with a screw (big earth colour cable)
just wrap the cable around this screw and screw back it and it works pefectly

well thats what i did and it worked fine just a though to save a little bit of soldering

Oh well it was just what someone on another forum told me and it worked perfectly well

    But maybe I was lucky

All I thought the ground did was keep the console from turning off

I can only speak from my experience though

And I did use flash fun as I stupidly used fsm to try to de hash

If it is the wrong thing to do though I apologise as I wasn't aware of this

As far as my reading and research went you can use any ground point in order to keep the console from turning off and recover from a brick
