For those in the know, and just out of curiosity...
1. When - at what date - was that the vulnerability first discovered?
2. What prompted the release of the hack at that particular time - which was the end of August?
3. Is anyone working on a no-bluray reader solution?
4. Is anyone working on a porting the hack to the TI-89 platinum?

As for release of the hack on Aug. 18th, it has no reason behind it. -- It was just the date that official resellers got a working sample that had previously been only internally tested in the mail by DHL, and once the Youtube video was made, and news posted on here, it spread like wildfire across the 'net.Quote:

Plus also the original PSGroove authors, have already stated they are done, it works, they are not going to look at making any improvements to support new versions of the "backup manager" since the original never was going to support it in the first place.
Best to ask the original authors of the TI-84 port, but he has already stated he is too busy with other projects.Quote:
