    Hi All,

To try out a backup manager I tried Waninkoko CFW

I went from Kmeaw to OFW in recovery then to Waninkoiko in recovery, everything was fine

I then wanted to go back to Kmeaw CFW

I went Waninkoko to OFW in recovery, that went fine.

In then tried OFW to Kmeaw in recovery and got a black screen, dont know if update finished. and now my ps3 turns on to a black screen.

I try to get into recovery mode to try again, I get the 2 beeps which would show im in recovery mode, but screen still black.

If I connect the ps3 controller via usb the lights start to flash on controller but pressing the ps button does nothing.

    Any Help Appreciated.

    Hi All,

    I've messed up, need help.

I wanted to try Waninkoko CFW, I usually put CFW's on via recovery.

I was on Kmeaw to start with.

So I went from Kmeaw to OFW in recovery then OFW to Waninkoiko in recovery, everything was fine, tested what I had to.

I then wanted to go back to Kmeaw CFW.

So I went Waninkoko to OFW in recovery, that went fine.

In then tried OFW to Kmeaw in recovery and got a black screen, dont know if update finished.

Now my ps3 turns on to a black screen. Power light is green.

I try to get into recovery mode to try again, I get the 2 beeps which would usually show i'm in recovery mode, but screen is still black.

If I connect the ps3 controller via usb the lights start to flash on controller but pressing the ps button does nothing.

How can I get back to OFW, or to Kmeaw.

    Many Thanks

Your screen settings have reset. Turn off your PS3, and then press and hold the power button until you hear it beep once, then let go. Should reset your video settings. If that doesn't work, try using the RCA cables to get a video signal.

Edit: Don't make multiple threads in different locations for the same problem.

    Just tried that no good.

    If I turn off PS3,

Then press and hold power, single beeps until goes off as expected.

Press power again after single beep, get 2 beeps as expected.

Normally Screen would show the connect controller message, for me its just black here.

So I try to connect controller anyway to see if anything is happening, and the lights start to flash on controller, so i press the ps b utton, but the lights still keep flashing, so the controller isnt connecting to the ps3.

I have flashed a CFW 3 times, each time going back to OFW then to CFW all in recovery.

This is the first time I have had an issue.

Might have to pull the HDD and format it, also, have you tried the RCA cables?

When going to Kmeaw CFW it looked as though it had got to 100% before switching off.

What I have been getting is after putting a FW on OFW or CFW, the ps3 doesnt power down it just hangs, I then have to turn it off and back on, and then it boots into whatever FW I had put on, all went the same until turning back on.

    Tried the RCA cables.

Its still under warranty at store I got it from, so I might have to take it back to them, rather than taking HDD out.
