Transfer files from external to internal
Transfer files from external to internal –
Hi, is there anyway to transfer files from external to internal HDD?
I tried FTP.. and it takes forever, like 1hour to transfer 6gb. It should be much faster to transfer the file from an USB port...
Is this possible?
OM does it, just as slow as FTP though.
Thanks a lot for the reply. By OM I belive you mean Open Manager, I installed version 1.6 and I must say it is much faster, I am copying 1gb/min.. so aprox 6min to copy a 6gb. Thats much better than 1 hour.
I need help. I have OM 1.6 and I am trying to transfer split files from ext. to internal. When I run OM I do not see the game in the list. Am I missing something?
Assuming you split the game file correctly, it would have the file extension of .666xxx or something like that? (Use Open Split to do the splitting as it works well). When using Open Split, it'll split the large file and re-name the folder. Basically just copy this folder onto your Ext HDD and start up OM. You should see the game on the list.

From what I can tell you may not have split the file correctly which is why it isn't being detected as a game on OM.
I tried SafeImage to split the files. I'll try OpenSplit and see if that works. Just to double check, do I have to have a certain directory created in the ext. drive to put the game folder in?
