Hello,
I am trying to FTP some files from my laptop to my internal PS3 HDD with Multiman, but it is consistently freezing. Is it possible to transfer files from a 3TB NTFS external HDD directly to the internal PS3 HDD? Thanks.

grab the full download for multiman. In it is USB.cfg. Use USBDEVIEW (freeware - google it) to get the info you need to set it up. The first 4 digit number in USB.cfg is your Vendor ID. The second is your Product ID. The last number is the number of partitions on the drive
Forgot to tell you after you edit USB.CFG put it in dev_hdd0/game/BLES80608/USRDIR, and restart multiman with your NTFS drive in the far right usb slot. Once multiman is loaded enable PFS driver from the file manager or from the settings menu
Use a wired connection for FTP. The PS3's wireless is painfully slow and prone to disconnecting FTP transfers.
I've been having trouble with FTP on recent versions of multiMAN too. It will transfer a few files, then it will hang up the connection and won't reconnect. Happens on wireless and wired for me
