    Hi,

My PS3Key has just died on me & I need a replacement device.

So which of these Jailbreak devices should I choose?

    The P3Go GT-Break £17.14

    or

    X3Max for £29.95

I plan on using backing up my games via Gaia, FTP (Blackbox), maybe check out Asbestos & try out some homebrew games

The P3Go GT-Break has v.good specs for a low price, but is currently not open source.
The X3Max has good specs but for a higher price, but can be flashed with any HEX file.

i dont know about those devices, but i'm finding the PS3Break to be a good dongle so far. , plays homebrews, easy to flash and compatible with all hex files. They just released version 1.2 and enabled online game update and fixed issues with some games. If you're interested their site is PS3,break, PS3break,PS3 dongle, PS3break.com

Cheers 'Ragna' for your recomendation. It looks like a decent device.

ok, out of all the clones available, I have narrowed it down to these JB devices:

    X3Max
    PS3Break
    ecliPS3

I would like to order asap, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

I've personally heard the best about x3max and PS3Break. More with the x3max though. They both don't like certain .hex files though. (Ex. not all .hex's work all the time. Not sure what the deciding factor is here though.)

If yer lookng at spending 29 pounds.....

I'd not buy either one.... no way !!

I'd be looking very hard at:
Minimus 32 AVR USB Dev Board at [Special Price: £24.95]
Atmel AVR USB Kits - ModTraders.co.uk

OPEN board ='s lots more choices in payloads. Those USB dongles
keep you stranded until the company releases new stuff = not a good deal

I've heard a lot about the Minimus 32 AVR, seems to be a pretty versatile dongle. If you don't go with the PS3Break, i'd definitely go with the 32 AVR

ok, thanks guys for your help.

Having looked at your suggestions & read the reviews on this site, I'm gonna go with the Minimus 32 AVR from modtraders.co.uk - they seem to be a reputable UK retailer.

    Thanks again,

    KH

Edit: Just had a thought & searched for a coupon online, found 'XS10OFF' & got 10% off my order (£2.86).
Total comes to £28.70 for the Minimus 32 AVR + Crystal Case
