Is there a way to spoof 3.42?

Is this something that will require a CFW, or is there already a way to spoof fw version?

Do you mean tricking a game into thinking you're on the correct FW version? Anyway, there isn't anyway to force anything into thinking you are running a different FW yet. With that said, no one knows whether it will require a simple tool or a whole CFW.

Firmware spoofing came out very early in the PSP hacking scene as games quicky came out requiring newer firmwares than that which had been hacked yet.

They both similar OS's im pretty sure firmware spoffing will come out soon enough as new games come out

I just hope there will be a way to use latest firmwares and still jailbreak, CFW or not. I pre-ordered Medal of Honor and it pisses me off that I will not be able to play it because it requires 3.42 - Genius hacking people ! Please release a solution, I would pay for it

The best thing people should do in your situation is buy a sec hand ps3 for online, and latest games, and keep the other for offline and backups.
