Is there someone that could explain me the situation?
Playing online is not possible anymore
He said that he doesn't care about PSN.
Hermes is a spanish guy that made a payload with a famous hack (which enabled launching games without the need of a BR disc inside the tray).
He then decided to retire because some Chinese cloners made a dongle by his name... but then came back to post his latest patches... and left the scene (again!).
Hermes v4b is his latest work.
PL3 is the acronym of PayLoad version 3. The other main payload used by the community. It's more "opensource" and stable regarding the source code. Much more commented and thus used as the main one to implement new patches.
The main and original coder is Kakaroto, a nice guy from Morroco.
Some say that PL3 is gonna be the only one to stay because Hv4b is all clutered.
Whatever, you can use any Backup Manager, but the ones giving the best result are OpenManager v2.1I2 and the latest Gaia.
To update games, you can either use some PC dedicated tools (can't recall the name) or the Open Ps3 Store.
Thank you so much!
