Iv gone thru 3 ps3s and they all have had fw 3.66. the ps3 i have now is also a 3.66

how ever there has to be a way. I have sum hacker skills but im not gonna try progskeet or teeny ++ since i don't have money or a credit card. so what do you recommend. Can i switch the hard drive with a 1tb. can i downgrade thru some other method like
the recovery menu. can i flash it manualy. lately iv been seeing a couple of jb for 3.66 and downgrades but their all fake obviously the only real jb would most likely be posted on psx scene but
still i try them in hopes that i ether jb or dg my ps3. what do you think

Edit: is it possible to make an OzModchip of a usb flash drive.

Hahahaha! No chance in hell I'm afraid.

Easiest thing to do in your position: Sell your 3.66 and get a 3.50 or lower. (And check the firmware BEFORE buying.)

Should be easy enough. Just tell somebody you want to trade your new PS3 for a used one.

I think he's saying he's purchased 3 PS3s and they have all had 3.66 FW on them (which is what new ones are coming with) what he needs to do is as mentioned above go buy a used one and make sure of FW version or trade

you could sell the ps3 that you have now and go on ebay there is a guy that sells brandnew ps3 with FW 3.55 I just bought a new one off of him for a friend and it does have 3.55 look it up.

i doubt that coz he said in his post that he has no money and no credit card. how could he afford 3 ps3's??
either sell it and buy a used ps3 with 3.55 or wait some more for a solution, i feel like all the shadowy devs are just waiting for the big games to release then you'll see these dongle and chip companies coming out with a solution which was sold to them by the shadowy devs. wait some more weeks and the good old devs here will find an open source solution and by christmas you'll be playing on your ps3
by the way, why do you need to get a ps3 that has 3.55? honest answer please, i doubt its because of all these wonderful homebrew games that are much better and epic than the real ps3 games, or the emulators that you can play on the pc many years ago.

no money? go pawn something and get the money you need to get the gear in order to downgrade the units.

hmm, let's say he bought one took it home an found 3.66, so he took it back, brough the next home 3.66, etc.
