As the title says, Im searching for a n00b proof guide for memdump 0.01 and "flash stor bin" check. English is not my primary language, and thats a reason why I am searching for a simplified guide.
I could not find one when using the search function here or on google.

If anyone knows a good guide, Id be glad if you posted the link here. Thanks!

I would like one too. Just for the worst happenings, a dump seems to help even I don't have a hardware flasher right now.
If nothing goes wrong I will never need one...
My problem is what version do I install "npdrm" or "gnpdrm" (I have a Slim- NOR Flash)?

I found the download section and the small guide linked in there...

I know I normally don't need to do anything except updating to 3.55 OFW and then to CFW 4... -> always in the Recovery Menu

OK! It is easy... I used the "npdrm" version. Everything went well having all usp ports free except the right/second one were the empty USB Drive (4GB-FAT32) was in.
