No TB will not help you get into factor service mode.
Cobra and most other dongles will
You know nothing about jailbreaking, but repair PS3's. Where can I send mine to?
Look I reball xbox,s and ps3,s on the side. I dont play video games so I have no need to jailbreak anything. There are some repairs that are software based issues that I usually turn away or cant fix which is why I asked. But Im sure you can do it all right?? jailbreak, reball, laser diode replacement......ya Ill bet not.
What I was trying to say is like you said. Some stuff is software based fixes. Plus there's usually a demand for jailbreaking along with repairs. I can work a soldering iron and a screw driver with the best of them. It just seemed odd to me that you knew about the hardware side and said you don't know about the software side. Software side's much easier to learn and needed for many hardware repairs. Never claimed to be able to do it all. Just know enough that if you're serious about repairing PS3's or any console or end user device then you need to know both sides of it. It was a joke. Take it as one
If I took it the wrong way or too hard then my bad. It just read like a backhanded compliment. There are alot of good uses on the software side and for that reason I am inquiring. I know for alot of you guys think the software side seems easier than the hardware side, but for a guy like me that went to high school when learning where home row was done on a electric typerator. Its a nightmare just trying to understand half your guys acronyms, and lingo let alone put the stuff to use. Though I have to say most people I deal with are youths and know more about the software side than I ever will and fix there software problems them selves which is why I seldom get software repairs.
