Stuck in Factory/Service mode
Stuck in Factory/Service mode –
I just downgraded successfully from 3.50 to 3.41. I then tried to exit service mode by using Lv2diag.self. It turned off after 10 seconds like it was supposed to, however when i turned it back on it was still in service mode. I have tried redownloading different Lv2diag.self files to make sure it wasn't corrupt, but everytime I try it just does the same thing. I am using the rightmost USB port, and the files are named correctly.
You need to use the 2nd lv2diag.self file (there are 2 in the packages) to remove yourself out of factory service mode. BTW: before you go doing that, you'll still want to downgrade to a firmware lower then 3.41 but greater then or equal to the firmware that came on your console, otherwise you won't be able to update to a firmware unless it has a version number higher then 3.5_6
I'm using the 206,256 sized FILE 2 and have downloaded it from multiple places.
Got it to work - used another drive. Weird, as the one i used before was just formatted!
