Stock 3.15 system - how to retrieve stored PSN password? [SOLVED]

I have a 120GB Slim running v3.15 OFW, and I need to retrieve my PSN password. This is a problem, because: a) I don't recall whether I entered real info when creating my account, b) even if I can guess what DOB I used, the PSN website does not seem to be accepting password resets sent via PC, and c) though I do not have any desire to install CFW/etc at this time, I do not want to negate that option by updating to v3.66 or w/e is now required to connect from the console.

What would be the easiest way to do this? Is the login info sent in plaintext, so I can just sniff the PS3's traffic? If not, is there a way to access xregistry.sys without installing a CFW? If installing a CFW will be necessary, what is the cleanest way to do this which will not block any future usage (and doesn't require special hardware)? Thanks for helping.

How do you have a slim with 3.15OFW, that being an OFW that had Other OS? I could be wrong but I don't think any slim had 3.15OFW. If I am wrong I apologize, but I hate to say I am calling BS here. Like I said if I am wrong I am sorry.

Yes I believe there was one model of slims with 3.15 FW but OtherOS had been disabled.

Slims were on 3.15, just disabled OtherOS

Lol. Thanks for the replies, it is indeed running 3.15 - I believe it was the original Slim SKU (no included games).

@master737373, sorry but I'm not sure where you're pointing me. I have searched xregistry.sys several ways, but the results I'm seeing are regarding systems that have some type of JB or CFW already installed. I know what I want is in that file, but I am not finding whether it can be accessed without somehow modifying the system first.
