step by step guide 3.41 to 3.55?

Hi
Is there a "for dummies" type of guide to upgrade from 3.41 dongle to 3.55?

I really don't know much about this type of stuff, and have searched over and over. Yes i have found a few things but it gets confusing.
I don't want to "brick" or screw things up.

Is there a easy step by step for the computer literate?

I'm currently on 3.41 using a E3 dongle..

I just upgraded to 3.55 a couple days ago myself after getting stuck in halfway through GT5 with 3.41. I followed this thread (CFW kmeaw + OFW 3.55 + GAIA 2.05 ready to install pack) and it worked perfectly. I installed Rogero instead of Gaia though.

Yeah, joehemi gave you the best solution. But trust me, you'll feel more empowered with either Rogero or multiMAN.

Rogero and multiMAN have had the most success stories with loading backups. I have found multiMAN to load all of my backed up games while GAIA only loaded some of them. I haven't really played around with Rogero but people say it's up to par with multiMAN.

I went with Rogero so I could transfer all my games to a new folder location. That way I could delete all the other backup mangers I had installed without fear of having my games deleted off my internal.

Sure I probably could have FTP'd it to a separate location and then FTP'd it back but this was clean and simple.

Thanks for the replies. I was sick, so i haven't been on my pc.

Question....all my games on my External drive have the modified 3.41 eboot.
Do i need to download 3.55 eboot or something for every game and replace the modified 3.41 eboot?
I must have 30 games on my hard drive...what do i do?

Is there a place where most games 3.55 eboot are?

Run the game in multi manager or gaia and let it fix the eboot permissions after you install 3.55.

How do i get multiman to fix the eboots to 3.55? Do i need to click something or does it do it when i try to start the game?
