Sony we love you all , we really want psn to work on 3.55 we promise we wont pirate or something we just need to make sure the games we bought are datasafe forever with us , i have modnation racers and when i saw these new updates to it i am crazy ! i want to go to psn and buy some stuff and download tracks seriously here's a proof that i own the game: sony please just to disable pirates enable psn and online gaming with just the original games in and not the backups ! with the blueray games inserted it works online , if you are playing a backup it wont work by the way can i update modnation racers to the latest version , because it seems that they added snow biomes

and I think they don't give a **** since you can't play one non jailbroken PS3 too if you aren't on 3.70

okay if i update the game will it still work on the 3.55 ? also can i update to 3.70 and download tracks and go back to 3.55 cfw ?

If it's such a big deal to you then just update to 3.70 OFW problem solved i just recently went from 3,55 rebug to OFW because of few reasons.
1.Homebrew are you kidding there are barely any that are useful like showtime
2.Emulators yeah or i can use 2 other console for it or a PC.
3.Backups now this is a valid point if you have kids and don't want damage the discs, faster loading times ?? as far as i know 95% games on PS3 have mandatory install so they will run of the HDD anyway so loading times are the same, or if you scared that games get damaged via playing them then you have some issues if you treat them well i careful nothing will happen.
4.Linux now here i have no clue if it's worth it or not wouldn't be just easier to get a 2 PC ?? now i'm not a Sony lover i agree that they shouldn't take away something that they gave from the start so i consider this a valid point.

Now i don't agree lately with Sony doing but i'm not gonna over react like "OMG they are watching what games i play" or the fact that they have right to use my personal information "OMG the gonna use it and frame for something" or they maybe want to use it for statistics ?? even for this they need our agreement otherwise we could sue them for money.

Or lately the big PSN downtime and hacking it i agree this shouldn't happen but don't forget PSN is "FREE" don't except Sony to blow millions into something that they giving out for free simple saying "You get what you paid for" and no buying stuff from PSN doesn't cover the server costs it just covers the value of the item it doesn't even cover the bandwidth since you can download the purchased item infinite number of times. that's why i say that PSN should be a paid service like XBL

why not sending sony some pictures of the original games to prove to them that we legaly own them then everyone who sends his pictures will wait for confirmation and put some detailed info and they pay money to sony and will let ability of psn on 3.55 kmeaw if i was sony ill do that because now they already have alottt of money lol , before i put cfw i went to the sony store and i told them do you sell ps3 amazebreak ? lol i didnt know first it was illigal and stuff lol they said NO
