It's rubbish, nothing but an unfounded, unproven and unsourced rumour. Sony would never do this, it would literally mean the death of their PlayStation department. You need to be online in order to play all your games? Set number of activations? I very much doubt it.

The article links to SKFU's blog and it's not even mentioned on there. Smells like Dukio, if you ask me.

If it's ok with the other mods, I'm going to go ahead and close this before the Chinese Whispers start and suddenly everyone starts flipping out about it being real. IF, and only if, something concrete comes out of this; then a proper news post will no doubt be made. Until then; dismiss it as someone's troll attempt or merely a flight of fancy.
