Hey Guys,

Has anyone got this to work yet?

It shows as compatible on psjcl.com but its just blackscreening for me

I've tried with BM v1, OM v1.13 (patched & non-patched), from Disc, from app_home etc - always blackscreens.

how did you installed the game ?

and where you running from Int.HDD or Ext.HDD ?

FTP'd to Internal HD after switching OM to patched mode. FTP'd over with blackb0x tho, not the built-in FTP client as I couldn't get that to connect.

is that original game or downloaded from the net ?

It black screens for me as well, I meant to try re-ripping it because the compatibilty list said it should work. Forgot about it till I saw this post though. Now I know that it's not just me maybe I won't bother.

Edited to add: and mine wasn't FTP'd, it was backed up through backup manager. Pristine disc as well, because I don't think it's been out of the box more than once before. Which is a pity, because I remember looking forward to this coming out for ages because of all the great RPGs on it. Just don't have the time any more to sink into them

hmmm, I wonder how whoever the dude who got it working managed to do so.... unless the psjcl was given a false report.

well then if he managed to get it work then its you should no longer trust downloaded games .

Pretty sure its a false report... on the PS3JB list its reporting it as not working anyway. It black screens for me aswell ;/

Heh, thats ironic, as I just tried to get my copy to work last night. Tried ripping it with backup manager 1.0 to both external and then internal, and it was no good (just a black screen, if I hit the PS button on my controller, but didnt quit the game, the little spinning clock icon in the upper right corner would basically freeze on the black screen...). Then I tried it with OM 1.14 and again, no good either internally or externally. Mine was my own copy, and after doing a quick net search, it seems other are having the same problems...it sucks because until a genesis em gets ported, its the closest we have to sega emulation ATM...

You should try loading the backup from the INTERNAL HDD and then have the disc in when booting from /app/game in OM 1.14.

If it works then it must be a disc check issue.
