Some questions about the PS3

Hey guys !
I don't follow the PS3 scene since month ago.
So i want some help.
I decide to buy a PS3 so i have some questions.
1) Am i 100% ok with an iphone as a jailbreak tool ?
2) What FWs can i downgrade ?
3) Can someone make a list with the emulators, managers and all the useful tools ? Also post some tools for devs i am not noob.

Well help me cause this 1 month cost me a lot on this scene

1. Yes
2. 3.50 and lower at the moment
3. All the tools are stickied in the General Jailbreak forum.

2. Some system that come with 3.42 and 3.50 are having problems downgrading. Maybe just the 3.50 systems.
