some questions about playing PS2/PS1 backups...
some questions about playing PS2/PS1 backups... –
So I got a ps3 from ebay and I am not sure if it is backwards compatible or not. But I heard that there is some sort of dongle out now that allows BC? I really don't know. Anyway I bought a 3.55 kmeaw console and just wondered if there were any useful dongles out there under 20$ lol.
I also heard one can dual boot to OFW to CFW or something?
I heard dongles are pretty cheap now that's why I am asking...
there is a easy way to tell if its backwards compatible and that is:
does it have a 60gb harddrive or above
does it have 4 usb slots
does the left/bottom of the case (depending on which way you stand your ps3) lift up and reveal sd card slots
as for playing ps1 backups multiman does that and im not sure about ps2 backups i think if it is backwards compatible multiman might work for them too but only from disc that goes for ps1 backups too
hope that helps
Were Did I Go Wrong...
only the Cobra USB dongle will play PS1 (also multiMAN from disc as stated by RazorX) and PS2 backups (and also PSP backups), dual boot is only offer by E3 flasher (Nand/Nor flasher, not dongle) and it's current state is only half dual boot (partial)

Hmm I don't think so but I am pretty sure he said it was an 80gb which used software emulation?
