Some games still don´t work - anyone know why yet?

I´ve read a lot of threads here, admittedly not all, but I am still to see any real speculation/facts on why some games won´t work even from Internal HDD. Do we know yet? Just seems strange to me that some games won´t work at all with Backup manager.Thinking if upcoming games can use the "structure" of non functioning games in order for BM to not work in the future?

I believe it has something to do with the PATH settings of each game. Some games can be played from the disk because the PATH settings are flexible enough to be booted from a different location. Other games probably require the game to be played from the BLURAY as they require a static PATH. This is all merely speculation, but it would be a good explanation as to why some games work, and others don't. I suggest trying to burn the game on a DVD if it's small enough, as it has been reported that games that didn't work from the HDD, did work when burned on a DVD.

Ok thanks for your response. We´ll just have to wait and see if future BM will be able to play these.
