Some cfw/ofw questions

Hi there, and sorry for my lack of google, the force is not strong within me :P

Anyways, my ps3 had been down for allmost 1 year until i got it together and reflowed it, (Seemed a lot harder than it acctually was).

So now im back on scene and notices ofw 3.72, well, wtf.
I mean, we had problems with 3.60 too ? but a modified pkg. could handle that

So i've been wandering around the forum to get updated, but it's gotten filled with (SORRY) ... Crap, homebrew game that, and addon this.

But so far i could get some info that there will be no more CFW, no more mistakes from sony, and no downgrade so far.
I allso noticed some talking about dualboot, but i cant seem to find any LEGIT info on that line.

So here is my questions, should i update to 3.72 or hope that there will be a way ?
Can anyone confirm this dualboot for me - when i google i see a lot of spoof
would it be wise to buy a e3 ? since it seems like they are the ps3 future.

NO DO NOT UPDATE!!!!!! if its been out of commision for over a year then it should be on an older firmware. all you have to do is install kmeaw 3.55 cfw then install the latest multiman back up manager.

If you want a hassle free way to play new games, then by all means update. If you want homebrew, older game back ups with a chance of playing 3.60 games in the future, then don't update.

The E3 team has been promising a lot of things and not coming through (like the dual boot), well currently they cant do the dual boot but you can downgrade (allegedly) but it downgrades to their own CFW 3.55 and you cant use any other firmware after the downgrade.
