The new movie, The Smurfs 3D movie wont play unless FW >3.70 is installed. Copying isn´t possible with MM either.

Stay clear, it is very easy to unwillingly install the included update :/

Rip it to AVI on computer and then watch it

1: The kids love it.
2: New 51" 3D TV and googles that i want to use
3: Only blueray player in the house is the PS3
4: Got it as avi already, but not as 1080P 3D in my spoken language (Swedish) so the kids can enjoy it.

Screwing my kids over by not allowing a MOVIE to play on a system that handles it!? F**K YOU SONY!

Why isn't copying possible with MM you should be able to copy it with the ps3 but it will still be encrypted and move it to your computer then remove copy protection and play it on ps3.

MM etc wont copy it, so no dice. Maybe december will bring updates so i can play new movies. Realy do not care that much about games, but i wanna be able to play the movies i buy without loosing showtime etc etc etc

USE A COMPUTER to rip it to an avi (1080P 3D Swedish) and that avi should play in either XMB or Showtime

just go grab the mkv sbs 1080p release from your buddy down the street that ripped his legaly owned version and stream though ps3media thing

Please explain how i rip a Blueray disc in a pc DVD player. As i said, only blueray in the house is the PS3 and i do not have access to a pc blueray for a few weeks.
