I'm using the latest FTP v 1.2 by blackbox, and using FileZilla on my Windows 7 PC. I'm on a WiFi connection, using a Linksys router which has B/G/N.

When I transfer a folder with a large amount of files over, I get an average speed of 500 KB/s

I'm not expecting to get extreme speeds of like 20 MB/s, but if somebody could please help me achieve atleast a few MB/s than that would be awesome.

btw, I cannot use a wired connection, since my computer and PS3 are in different rooms.

Also, maybe this transfer could be made quicker using some sort of file manager, where I could just connect a usb 2.0 hdd to the ps3 and transfer that way, anybody know of such an app?
