Slow FTP transfer speed - BlackBoxFTP 1.2
Slow FTP transfer speed - BlackBoxFTP 1.2 –
I'm using 3.55 cfw with blackbox ftp 1.2 installed. PS3 is connected to PC (with GIGABYTE EX58-UD5) via ethernet cable (CAT5). I'm transferring files from PC to PS3 internal HDD using FlashFXP FTP connection. I'm getting 70KB/s transfer speed , yes 70KB/s
I'm wondering what's wrong with my FTP transfer speed?

all sounds fine to me,yeah looks like your on kmeaw ,update your backup managers and install bdemu if using the latest multiman then your good to go
He said he can't remember what custom firmware the PS3 is running on. Umm, not sure how to update and install bdemu I have to do some research. Is there tutorial link in this forum?

maybe your ftp bandwidth cap is enabled...check to see if it's set to unlimited
How do I check if ftp bandwidth is capped? I had a look @ FlashFXP and transfer speed limit is disabled

try filezilla ftp
go to your network connection properties => ipv4 properties and manually enter these settings :
ip : 10.1.1.1
subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
default gateway: 10.1.1.1
preferred dns server: 10.1.1.1
alternate dns server: 10.1.1.100
then select a new wired connection on your ps3 pick custom => wired => auto detect => manual and enter the following :
subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
default router: 10.1.1.0
primary dns 10.1.1.0
secondary dns: 10.1.1.10
then go on to the next screen pick automatic => do not use => enable and save the settings
now connect your ps3 directly to your pc via ethernet cable and start ftping at max speed internet will not be avaible only a direct connection from your pc to your ps3 has been made no connection to the ineternet if you want to fix your internet settings again on both pc and ps3 just let the system autmaticly configure your ip and dns settings
if you are still not getting full speed then its probably pc-based as in software isnt configured as it should i use filezilla to ftp
EDIT: on filezilla your settings should look like :
and on transfer settings i picked active
Already done this. Transfer speed still averaging @ 70KB/s

I don't know what's wrong
Also, I want to upgrade MultiMan current version: 1.13 what's the upgrade path that I need to follow? Can I go directly to the latest one?
PROBLEM SOLVED it was incorrect network settings.
