As the title says, I'm slowly losing my mind right now...

I have a PS3 with 3.15 FW on it and don't know what to do...

Shall I go with 3.55 Kmeaw CFW or 3.41 with a dongle ???

I'm also thinking about installing Linux (as I'm on 3.15) and go with the QA Flag, and then update to 3.55...

Or to go right now with 3.55 Kmeaw CFW, install linux and maybe QA Flag...

I don't know what to do as I see that a lot of people seem to downgrade from 3.55 to 3.41... Why the hell ???

Any help would be appreciated...

I have a funny feeling q/a is useless except for those who need rebug. I know It won't work with rebug what i'm saying is unless u care about debugging and other "useless" debug features your way better off leaving q/a to those who's work is being hampered by retails restrictions (again refering to debugging and checking compatability with jap systems as far as x o swap)

also 3.15 can't do q/a due to hypervisor unless u wanna do the geohot and use graf's kernel and tools if thats even possible.

go with kmeaw 3.55 and don't look back

sorry didn't realize it was the op posting.
poeple downgrade because thier "legit" game collection is full of modded eboot.bins yet they can't just replace the modded eboot with the origional. funny.

also 3.41 can use more aftermarket controllers so for some there is that.

Yes. But not all games have a modded eboot. But *most* do

So it seems that the best thing to do is to download 3.55 OFW, then go for 3.55 Kmeaw...

as far as playing future games in a word no, longer answer is yes, right now eboots are avaliable for most if not all games but sony changed the keys and even the "public" keys are not public for 3.60 and newer keys

do not install 3.41 if your going to kmeaw its not harmful just a waste of time.

Yes, but there are some games that are made with the newer sdk, meaning they need at least 3.56/3.60/ or 3.65, hence the modded eboot. Some games, like Duke Nukem, don't have a publicly released modded eboot for 3.55.
