Sign into account on jailbreak
Sign into account on jailbreak –
when we downgrade to a lower firmware the settings and accounts are deleted. Since there is no internet access how does one sign into there existing account for offline play and mainly trophy gaining. When trying to the sign up to playstation network icon to choose 'use existing account' does not work and prompts firware update.
I would like to be able to use my user profile so I can gain trophies then when decide to uodate to new oficial firmware I can sync and will have my trophies and new ones I have gained in jailbreak
Please if someone can help me get around this issue would be just fantastic to be honest. cheers
The only thing you can do is update to 3.50 and use the Logan proxy trick to re-activate your account again. Unfortunately, if you want to downgrade, it sounds like your PS3 is one of the ones that formats, so you'll lose it all when going back to 3.41. So far, there is no other solution unless you backed up your account previously while in 3.41 jailbreak.
Will spoofing to 3.50 work?

Or, if everyone else's theory is correct, they put new keys into 3.50 and you can't sign into PSN without those keys.
Im not actually in 3.41 yet. Im on 3.50 waiting on my e3 reader to come but on the videos I have seen and from what my friend has experienced also, I does delete all there saved accounts and setting and my friend could not find away to play his backups and gain trophies using his main account. The ps3 in the video is a 60 gig pal phat model same as mine and my firends
I have just made a backup of my ps3 in 3.50 could i just restore that into jailbroken 3.41 so my account will already be on?
Yeah, but if you read over here: WARNING! RED ALERT! DOWNGRADING KILLS BLU-RAY MOVIE PLAYBACK! - PSX PS2 PS3 Scene Modchip & Jailbreak Community not all 60gb models have to format. No one really knows why either. So, you could get lucky and not have to format, but you'll lose bd-movie playback. If you format, you'll keep bd-movie playback but you'll lose all your data. Dunno which is more important to you, but I kinda think they both suck as options. LOL
Edit: Nope, making a backup in 3.50 will want that backup restored only on 3.50 or above.
Damn would that no BD playback be for good or until I use my restore on new firmware if I have to. Realy not even going to bother with downgrading and jailbreak if I loose it thats a right bummer to hear

Now, some users have reported using other peoples files in this thread: Backup thread for BD issue(dev_flash3 - PSX PS2 PS3 Scene Modchip & Jailbreak Community that are from the same region and same model # and been able to get there stuff working again
Okay thank you I'll read up in that thread. Do you know if other people are trying to find ways around the sign into account problem?
