Shuffle2 gets Jiggy with the Downgrade Party with additions to Rockbox_psgroove –
Shuffle2 recently added functionality to rockbox_psgroove to allow it to preform the Jig Authentication to get the PS3 into service mode.
So now you can use your MP3 player to not only jailbreak your >3.41 FW PS3, if you're on FW 3.42 and 3.50 you can also downgrade to a jailbreakable firmware! (Especially if Sony caught you off guard on 4/1/2010 and you didn't realize you were loosing OtherOS. Be aware of the potential for issues, such as possibly breaking blue-ray playing and know how to get out of service mode with the proper lv2diag.self on a USB Stick--- basically do your homework BEFORE trying.
Mega thanks to shuffle2 for getting this done so quickly!
If you want to take a stab at compiling your own, you can go here and download the sources. Follow the instructions on the wiki and you should be good to go!
Below are the compiled versions for the Sansa series devices, I will compile for the other devices as well as soon as possible.
Update: Now working on Firmwares greater than 3.41!
