PSgroove is in no way a pirate copy of PSjailbreak. It's a reversed engineered open source version of it. So unless PSjailbreak owns patents for the method of exploit PSgroove is in the clear.
It's like saying Firefox is pirating internet explorer. They both do the same thing but they are in no way the same thing/code.
And after the last PSgroove update u could say that PSjailbreak is an outdated, mostly useless, version of PSgroove.
Talking about it is OK in my opinion. There's nothing wrong with discussion.
Patents to the exploit? So you're telling me you would make a patent for an exploit you discovered with sony's code in the mix? You can't just patent everything you discover, especially when the thing you're trying to patent is stolen property. You're looking at heavy jail time and a fine that can ruin you.
