Should i updgrade to 3.55?

PS3 - 160 Gb (stock 3.40)

Well I'm on 3.41 right now and I'm tempted to upgrade to 3.55 so i can play more PlayStation move games but got i few questions.

#1 Ive been reading mixed reviews about back up mangers. Will all my back ups work on my external or will it be a toss up.

#2 It is safe now and i can downgrade from 3.55 if it don't like it.
#3 Which 3.55 should i use. Or what one is more reliable.

1. Not all games work on backup managers. there's compatibility list search it.
2. kmeaw firmware its safe to install but there's no guarantee when your installing CFW proceed with caution and if your PS3 briks there's nothing to blame but you. You can downgrade from 3.55 theres a thread about it but I've never tried.
3. IMO kmeaw its the way to go at the moment.

Ya i know. but its it better compatibility now or is it the same. And is backing up the same? i seen bunch threads were you have to copy to folders to here and get a modded eboot.

You're not looking at the right threads.

All the major backup managers have been updated recently and work well. The only real difference youll noticve when going to 3.55 cfw is not having to use the usb dongle.
