Should I update my PS3?

Ok so as alot of you know, the PSjailbreak has a downgrader and i'm on 3.50 and they just shut down my internet on my PS3.

and I don't have my downgrader yet so i can't hack my PS3 but is the single player campaign of all the games the PS3 has to offer worth the fact you can play online with your friends, I mean as we all know multiplayer for hacked PS3 may NEVER come out.

Yes, update. Clearly you won't be able to deal without online multiplayer.

but jesus christ, I want to play all of those amazing single player games like gow 3.

Buy an Xbox360 to play with friends online, its much better IMO when it comes to playing with mates, even if it is a £30 quid a year subscription...

No offence to the PS3 fanboys.

just update to 3.55, than the hackers gonna release downgrade for 3.55 after some time.

Just update and leave the scene. This is not a magic mirror or a diary. You know the current situation. Either update or get a 2nd ps3, and don't bother downgrading if your on 3.41. That's about it.

why buy second?
just update to 3,55, when downgrade from 3.55 out he is good.

This is quite short-sighted. Without a significant paradigm change in how downgrading/jailbreaking works, JB consoles will never get on PSN. As soon as some exploit allows 3.55 downgrade, Sony will instantly patch and 10 days later only 3.60 will be allowed on PSN, and there aren't an infinite number of vulnerabilities to attempt to exploit.

For now, realize that JB = no PSN. It'll probably stay like that for a long long time.
