Should I remove jailbreak and upgrade to 3.7?

Hey guys,

Just a littel advice before I do something I may regret. I am thinking about upgrading my firmware from 3.5 cfw waninkoko to the PS3 original 3.7 firmware so I can play Resistance 3.

Before I do this, it would be great to get your thoughts on this.

Also, if I do decide to change fw, can anyone tell me the best way to do it?

Look into one of the the downgrade solutions - you might be able to have 3.70OFW and 3.55CFW running dual boot

Yes I think you should upgrade and go legit. When I have a bit of money I will be buying my son another PS3, keeping the one he has now for homebrew and the new one legit.

The way I see it things are absolutely stagnant with regards to advances in CFW, I am in no way blaming the devs/coders its just the way things are. So yes upgrade.

I would sell your PS3 if i were you. It gives one more jailbroken PS3 to the community, and it will definitely cover the price of a a brand new PS3 system.

I would not update it, you would regret it just for one game.

no it won't. you totally forgot how the price drop made PS3s less valuable used & new.

Yes it will. The number of jailbreakable PS3 has decreased over the time, so it will make its price go higher.
The price drop was only in new PS3.
