It can have anything from 3.40 to 3.61. Most likely 3.61 though. Unless it's a 320gb bundle, in which case you can know what firmware it comes with as it will be the same firmware that the game requires.
Theres a thin possibility that you'll get an updated console this way thouhg, although ver unlikely. Your best bet is to look for a brand new 120 or 250gb, they won't have anything higher than 3.41.

theres also a killzone 3 bundle, but no idea if they still have the stock....just the boxes are there on the shelfs

Can't tell the firmware from Move Pack, so best avoid this.
Killzone 3 Bundle SHOULD be 3.55.

Yep, get the killzone bundle that is 3.55. this one if its 320Gb is more than likely 3.61 or higher.

Ofcourse, you can buy it. Logon and check the fw and if you dont like the FW return it.

Hi Pereb 27! I have the same question as supershane4141. Does the date of import have anything to do with the firmware? the model number available at a store near my place is cech-2508b. Its a 320 gb ps3 with move starter pack. and date of import is April, 2011. what are the chances that it has a firmware 3.55 or lower ? I'm in a deep fix whether to go for this model number or not. Or should i go for a 320 gb unlocked 3.55 MFW ps3 with move starter pack from e bay?
Also, are you totally sure that a ps3 killzone bundle would have a firmware 3.55?
