It will be hacked. just like the current firmware of the PS3. People keep saying its impossible. thats not true at all. the fact of the matter is there is no security out there that cant be broken. Someone somewhere will find a way to hack the damn thing someday.

Didn't the Vita get bummed 24 hours after release? I'm sure I spotted it running code somewhere.... If Sony use the security architecture as the current offering then I'm guessing not a cat in hell's chance, if however it's a redesign then I'm sure they'll miss something. When It becomes available the script teens will invariably become beta testers for Sony's latest and future security updates..

Then why are we all still running 3.55 waiting on the next hack? Because Sony is ahead of the scene, thats why

Just like the current firmware ISN'T hacked, nor is there any sign that it ever will be. Get your facts strait

It's not that 3.56+ can not be hacked. It is because no one is trying to crack it.
Nothing to do with Sony.

So ... nobody is trying to hack it because they are afraid of Sony? Still the same end result. If nobody hacks/cracks it, it doesn't matter if its because they can't or they won't.

I have been in many tech scenes. I have seen many things hacked/cracked/modded/unlocked/jailbroken/open-sourced/WHATTHE****EVERTHEYWANTTOCALLIT.
The new firmware can't be hacked the same way as older ones.
It can be hacked. But it requires a hardware piece to downgrade it.
Why haven't we found a new way to hack it? Well because most don't need it.
It can be hacked, and it will, in time. Most likely so the slims can be jailbroken.
Do not tell me to get my facts straight. I knew Saurik long before the PS3 was unlocked.
He just got sued. Give him time.
It will be just like LimeRa1n. He'll disappear for a little while, and then just casually release a new jailbreak that blows everything else out of the water and opens the gateway to other devs getting into 4.11+
The way it works is White Hats release the initial update. Black Hats find a way in. White Hats patch it. Black hats find a way in. More updates and security holes ensue.
Eventually a new update will expose a hole we hadn't seen earlier, and we will exploit it.
It's not that the exploits don't exist currently. They do. In the current version, there is a way to hack it.
We just haven't found it yet.
