Sansa E250 Jailbreak??

Okay, I have seen people say they jailbreak their PS3 with a Sansa E250…but the PSGroove installer does NOT have E250 in the program. All I have seen as far as "confirmation" is people saying they have done it with the E250. I don't personally have the E250 here, so I can't test it myself. It's a friends E250 that lives about 300 miles away from me and he's wanting to jailbreak his PS3. I downgraded it for him from 3.42 to 3.41 the other day while he was in town but he had his Fuze V2 with him which didn't work for the Jailbreak and left his E250 at home. So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can someone tell me exactly how to put PSGroove on the E250?

Simple: You don't.

Put rockbox on it if you can. Then you can just run the executable and reboot.

I own two E250 Sansa and both jailbreak no problems.

The E250 is basically the E200 so just follow/look at all the info for that. Let us know how you go.

When it says "E200" that means E250, E260, etc. Just make sure you have a V1 or a Rhapsody version.

I personally have 3 Sansas, I jailbreak with all 3. (all E250's, one a V1 and 2 an R version).

So, another words I just plug it in and do the E200 jailbreak and it will jailbreak the E250, correct?

Actually the e250 *IS* the E200. That's the part you're not getting.

My c200v1 says it's the c250 or 260 or something on the outside. But if you look at the BATTERY (or check the internal firmware) it says "c200 v1".

I would personally do the rockbox jailbreak. The instructions are all over the web (though most of them are wrong.) Once you have Rockbox installed you only have to go to files and you can select ANY of the payloads for jailbreaking.

You could seriously put them all on there then boot to whichever one you want. (You don't have to reinstall or reflash rockbox everytime like a lot of the instructions say.)

If you ever want to boot to regular firmware you can do that too. It's extremely versatile.

Correct. There is a BIG thread on the Sansa in these forums just read the first post - it has everything you need.
