safest way to get 3.55 CFW, + diffrence between backup managers

Hi,

I had been around for a while now, but I am still getting confused, with multiple 3.55 releases. what is the diffrence between them.

which one do I need to get back managers running.

and finally, what is the diffrence between back up managers, is it just the UI, or is there games that run on some, and does not run on the other.
