Just got myself a 500GB internal hard drive along with a 500gb external hard drive. Just have to wait now for my AVRkey to arrive from Manitoba. (What is it still doing in Winnipeg?

Anyway, which is better for running backups? The internal or external? Also, does anyone know what path the games go in? Is the path set up automatically by backup managers or do you have to manually create the path?

Just create a GAMEZ folder on the external and you're set. As for the internal, it'll create the necessary folder the first time you run it. Internal is always better then external, because 1. it's an SATA connection instead of USB, 2. it can handle files over 4GB, and 3. the compatibility is much higher because of points 1 and 2.

Can you FTP to an external hard drive connected to the PS3? Or do I have to unplug it, run it to my PC and transfer files using USB?
