Run .pkg files with the same jailbreak device? (MP3/Nano Related)

I have a 1g nano with 2gb. I haven't actually done anything yet in terms of testing anything. On my ipod is a ton of pkg files (snes,ftps,filemanagers,om,bm,etc) and have even put a few psn games on here as well with the updates ready to install.

Will I be able to run these files with the same device that jailbreaks the system or do these pkgs (psn games included) need to be on another flash drive?

Since you are able to remove the iPod after it has jailbroken the PS3, you can reset it to Disk mode and it should be recognized as a USB device.
