Rogero 4.21v1.09 Game Compatibility and Discussion Thread

Hello, just wanted to get this kicked off, I know we're gonna need it.

Everyone post your issues and your successes with games on the new firmware, please be as detailed as possible.

I'm going to test all my games (over 200) and see what ones work as is then go from there.

I only test games on external unless it is a game commonly known to only work on internal.


CONFIRMED WORKING:
All games work if you use a fresh rip that hasn't been patched. If you've patched your backups then replace the original files and you're good to go.

I'm curious to know compatibility of different things, especially about cobra dongle. I'm very fond of the idea of playing ps1, ps2, psp & ps3 backups on one console. The way it should have been all along! Time will tell I guess.

I've been on Hermes 3.41 up till a few months ago and when I made the switch to 3.55kmeaw it was for Batman Arkham City and I didn't change any of my old eboots to work on 3.55, but most of them worked.

Edit: no problems with games once a fresh rip is made or if you replace the original files.

After some testing it's clear that this thread is completely useless, all games work on the new cfw's if a fresh backup is used or if original files are replaced on patched games. Please delete this thread.

I don't think you even have to use original eboots because I didn't even have to do anything to my 3.55 patched games, they all worked when i moved from kmeaw to rebug 4.21.

This is my first jailbroken PS3 setup, and Rogero is awesome! No need for patches obviously, that alone makes it better than kmeaw imo.

I will say, and I don't know if this is the PS3 or MW3, but if I'm in game and access Playstation XMB, it can freeze for like 2 minutes and just sit there with the clock "activity icon", no buttons work during this time. No big deal, happens on occasion (a couple times per day of 2 hour gameplay).
