Rogero 4.21 to 4.31 CFW

Hello

I have had problems with multiple games like Black Ops 2 and NFS Most Wanted giving me an error called 8001009 when starting from XMB using the newest multiman.
Other games like SSX just causes a black screen and a totalt freeze.

I am wondering if i should update - and if it's safe just to update directly from the recovery menu. I am still a new comer in the game, and the 3.55 downgrade guide seems awfully technical!

sounds like you need to download game updates for these games or play them with a disc in the console.

Yup i'd agree, i have both COD:BO2 + NFS:MW and they both run fine on Rogero 4.30cfw but i've had a ps3 disc in my console since i install 3.55kmeaw back in the day. I'd definately try using a disc.

I had the same problem, it's because those games are both signed for 4.25 and Rebug is 4.21. Apparently you still have to resign the eboots even though they use the same keys, so if you just use 3.55 fixed eboots the games should run fine. As for SSX make sure you are using the original files as the N0DRM patches didn't really work for that game. If you still want to update going back to 3.55 is the best method to prevent bricks and with the 999 downgrader it isn't all that hard.
