Ripping my originals to external Hdd.

Hi, can I just use a cheap reader like this:

To rip my collection of titles to my external Hdd for use with my JB PS3?
Or do I just have to use my PS3 for ripping?

Blurays are copy protected just like anything else, use your ps3. unless you want the hassle of removing the protection

WTF...X360 has copy protection.
I have no problem ripping them to hdd using a kreon drive and playing fine.
