Reverting PS3 back to a sellable state

Is there anyway to revert my ps3 with KMEAW CFW back to it's original state including PSN functionality?
I'm unsure if PSN is blocked from CFW actively as they try to connect or if Sony banned consoles who use CFW.
If I restore back to original firmware will I be able to get PSN reinstated by contacting sony?

I googled and found this guide:

Just wondering if it still applies or has it been patched? I'm unsure of sony's policy, do they ban you for CURRENTLY having CFW or do you get banned for EVER having CFW?

if you want to use PSN you have to update it to the latest OFW .in this you know you will lose the ability to CFW and load games off USB HDD/HDD

Yeah I know that, I want to sell my PS3 and I think it will be hard to sell without PSN.
I'm asking if, if I'm already banned, will I remain banned on OFW? Or do Sony check each time you try to connect for CFW presence?

1º - No one ever has been banned because of CFW.
2º - Just keep your CFW and sell it. Lots of people want to jailbreak, but since they have 3.6x, they have no choice but to buy a PS3 on 3.55

Ah, so would the best option to be to follow this guide but to use the 3.55 OFW so potential buyers have the choice to update to 3.66 or install a CFW?

Yes. Definitely do NOT upgrade past 3.55, as it lowers the value, and will give you a smaller amount of people interested in buying. If anyone wants psn, they can update it their self.

I would sell yours on 3.55 to someone you know in your area. You can get alot more in person then you can off Ebay etc..
