Resign Back Up

Since we can resign game saves to other ps3s, why can't we do it for back ups. What if somebody made a back up and, then somebody could download it to their computer and use a tool that would allow you to resign the back up to your ps3, so then you could restore your ps3 to that back up. Would we just have to some how figure out how to resign/hack the back ups like we did with game saves. Im talking about system back ups, not game back ups.

Are you talking about resigning games or firmware? There is already an eboot(game) resigner.

Im talking about, being able to resign your back up to another ps3.

Yes they are. If you back one up from a ps3, and then you take it to another ps3, it says,"This back up is from another ps3"

To what end? Are you trying to get game backups from CFW to OFW? Or just move you game saves and such from one PS3 OFW to another OFW PS3? What are you trying to accomplish?

Backups are NOT assigned to an individual console. If they were how would you explain that every single game has been dumped and is available on file hosts and torrent sites

Are you talking about game back ups? Cause im talking about system back ups.

What are you talking about? Data transfer? DLC content? Save data? I've never heard of a system backup on PS3
