reset NAND info –
01-24-2011,10:22 PM
I just formated my PS3 HDD through my PC (DELETE PARTITION) when I turn on my ps3 it says: Insert a USB media with firmware 3.55 (something like that) So somehow my ps3 knows the latest firmware was 3.55 (not internet connection, but stored on NAND or somewhere) so if that info is stored there, then probably Sony has a log that saves the latest firmware installed. 3.55-GH and that ones

What's your point?
If it didn't know you'd already had 3.55 installed do you really think we'd need a special downgrader etc to go to firmwares with a lower version than the one installed?
Christ,
Of course some of the info is stored on the NAND, ffs. That's basic of basic stuff anyone knows.
